ahhh the Xmas spirit, thanks for that
Hey fellas...I found this recently on the web and I have never ever come across it anywhere since and so I figured that there might be some of you that would love to see it.
It's a video of Social D's "Send Her Back" performance from the Independent Days Festival in Italy, filmed by someone in the audience but it has a really, really good quality and it's something everyone (with a fast enough connection) should download!
I hosted it on a German server, so for all non-German speaking folks here I provided a little tutorial so that you know what to do and what buttons to press!
Don't worry, this is absolute save and free and you won't have any malicious spyware and/or viruses on your PC when you d'load it.
Enjoy it folks...it took me a while to upload it and prepare the tutorial and screenshot but I'm in a X-Mas sharing-spirit atm.

thanks
and merry christmas
Thanks a ton LostHeart!!
Wish we could get our hands on that whole show...Looks like it was filmed at a great vantage point.
The crowd seems a bit lackluster. Could be that they're playing Send Her Back and not a MLM classic!!

lostheart you are the man!!!!!!
thanks for the early xmas gift.
Uggg, I got the darn thing down loaded and it won't play in my Quicktime player!!! This is what my error message had to say...
QuickTime cannot open the file: "Social_Distortion-Send_Her_Back__Live_I_Day_05_Italy_-5o0miles.mpg"
it is not a file that QuickTime understands (-2048)
Can someone help me out?!? Thanks Lostheart for posting this, I wish I could watch it!
<font size="2" face="verdana, arial">You have a Mac, don't you? Maybe someone who's familiar with Apple's can chime in here and help out, but I reckon it has to do with you not having the appropriate codecs on your "machine".Originally posted by greasergirl:

The only solution that I come up with is that you download the VLC player. It's a free media player that can play everything. Files that other players could not open were openened by the VLC player without a problem.
The only problem is that it's only available for OSX!
If you got OSX on your Mac go to
http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-macosx.html
and download it..you won't regret it and I bet it will play the file...
I downloaded the VLV program and I got it to play, but there is no sound! Oh well, at least I got to see it. I can't wait to see them play again in a few weeks!
<font size="2" face="verdana, arial">But it does have sound...actually it's pretty funny when Mike introduces the song and said that "Send Her Back" was released before he was born and even before Danny was born and you can see Charlie cracking up in the back!!!Originally posted by greasergirl:

I'll try to find out how you can get it to run properly...

But it does play perfectly fine when I open the file with Windows Media Player. I know what you're saying right now...I kept in mind that you have a Mac but Windows Media Player is also available for Mac and it's free and why not give it a try?
Many folks bitch about Microsoft and their software but their Media Player is actually my favorite and I only use the VLC player for the "tough" cases.
